Another busy week. On Tuesday, Stewart Powell from TechnoCamps joined us again with our preparations. His help allowed us to go through half of the robot game and get it working really reliable and we had the chance to present our project idea. We also went through our core values; what it meant to work as a team. New team shirts are being ordered tomorrow.
Another busy week follows now. With school not being open tomorrow, the team is working on creating gifts for other teams at the event. This will include two 3D printed keyrings displaying our two team logos. Also in the pack will be a personalized letter.
We are still amazed by how far we have come. To represent Wales and Britain among other teams in an international competition abroad has encouraged the team work very hard. We have now been confirmed that the event will be live streamed, and more thoroughly than the competition in Bristol. More information on both how to keep up to date and watch the event will be posted later.
The whole team would like to say a huge Thank You to all the companies and individuals who have supported us along the way. We would definitely not be in this position if we didn't have the support from the public. If you haven't yet donated money to the team, there is still time (via this link http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/team-lightning).
Over the next week, there will be regular updates on the progress. We will try and include videos of each section of the robot game and an overview of our project idea.
